Dr. Sun-yat-sen Park, Taipei, Taiwan
Dr. Sun-yat-sen Park is located at 25.047654, 121.520156
It is near downtown area
Taipei train station (MRT Taipei Main Station) and Qsquare Within 3 minutes walking distance.
We can see the Qsquare from Dr. Sun-yat-sen Park
And Civic Blvd Expressway(ShiMin Blvd.) at Dr. Sun-yat-sen Park north side
And Civic Blvd Expressway(ShiMin Blvd.) at Dr. Sun-yat-sen Park north side
We also can see Shin Kong Life Tower
It had been the tallest building(1993~1997) in Taiwan.
A Chinese style garden.
It is easy to find pond and bridge in a Chinese style garden
And there is pavilion at conner, a stele at the middle of pavilion
It wrote: It is the starting point, and the base to rebuild Republic of China(R.O.C)
There is a Japanese style building in the park: Umeyashiki(梅屋敷)
Now we call this building as Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial House
This building was built for commemorate the president(1921~1922), Sun Yat-sen
In 1913, he came to Taiwan and lived here
More information about Sun Yat-sen in Wikipedia:
After rebuilt this Japanese style building, the government built out the garden
Now the park combine the Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial House and the garden
↓Long gallery beside the building
Compared the noise of Taipei main station, this park is very quiet.
When you pass through this area, you can go to this park!
Key words: Taipei train station, Japanese architecture, Nihon kenchiku
